Bo Boulenger is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Baptist Health South Florida, the region’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system with approximately 23,000 employees and more than 4,000 affiliated physicians. Serving more than 1.5 million patients each year, Baptist Health has a national reputation for quality. In its Best Hospital Rankings, U.S. News & World Report has consistently recognized Baptist Health among the top healthcare organizations nationwide for performance on multiple areas of care. Mr. Boulenger is responsible for Baptist Health’s 11 hospitals and more than 50 outpatient facilities spanning four counties, as well as internationally renowned centers of excellence in cancer, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences. He also serves as incident commander of the Baptist Health Disaster/Emergency Preparedness Program and provides leadership to the pastoral care program and medical center at Ocean Reef. Mr. Boulenger began his career with Baptist Health in 1985 at South Miami Hospital and has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare administration.
He earned a bachelor's degree from University of Florida and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Boulenger is a member of the Florida Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees, and he serves on the Board for Vizient Southeast, a healthcare provider alliance that delivers industry-leading clinical quality and supply chain management services.
