Dr. Al Halabi is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in advanced coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. He completed his Internal Medicine training at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. During his residency, he developed a passion for Cardiovascular Medicine. He was recognized with many awards including the “The Cleveland Clinic William E. Lower Award “and the “ACP Young Investigator Award”.
After completing his training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Al Halabi received an additional three years of Cardiovascular medicine training at the Loyola University Medical Centre. He then completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Illinois Medical Center and Advocate Christ Medical Center. He is also completed an endovascular fellowship at the Advanced Cardiac & Vascular Centers under the tutelage of Dr. Jihad Mustapha and Dr. Fadi Saab.
Dr. Al Halabi’s scientific research has led to over 50 abstracts and scientific publications in national conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
