Hydropower Foundation
Bree Mendlin has served the Hydropower Foundation since 2014. As the Program Director, she coordinates innovative activities that encourage more young people to pursue the hydropower industry as a career choice. Mrs. Mendlin has been responsible for planning the Turbine Runner 5k™ for seven years in a row and the annual Celebration Dinner. She has lead programs such as the Research Awards Program (1017-2018), Hiring for Hydro™ events, Think Tanks™, and continues working closely with NREL on the STEM workforce development project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Water Power Technologies Office. She brings experience in event planning, customer service, communication, and relationship development. She has served as a board member of Project Stocking Stuffer, Bree volunteers at her church in the nursery and on the worship team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Colorado at Denver and currently resides in Littleton, CO, with her husband, two boys, dog, and horse.
