Jeremy is the co-Director of the Pacific Marine Energy Center as well as the Deputy Director of Research and a Research Associate Professor with the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Alaska Center for Energy and Power. Kasper has been participating in and leading applied research projects around Alaska since 2000. He received his Ph.D. from UAF in 2010 and was a postdoctoral investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from 2010-2012. His current research focus is on innovative marine energy technologies for meeting the energy needs of Alaskan communities.
