Mr.Shuo Chen is currently a Master's student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Virginia Tech who studies marine energy harvester designs and prototyping graduating in Feb 2021. So far, Shuo and his advisor, Prof. Lei Zuo have developed multiple kinds of novel marine energy harvesters including extracting energy from the ocean wave, current, or a hybrid model that harvests both simultaneously.
