Neptunewave has, after 11 years, produced an economically viable wave energy powered system that generates continuous electricity from small, near shore, waves.

The Vancouver Wave Energy Test Station will open for verification testing on May 24th, 2021. Companies interested to partner-collaborate with us may attend with their own equipment to verify the electricity generated from waves of various heights by this system. Our product provides ‘clean’ electrical generation. A single NeptuneWave Generator is projected to produce 11,000 MWh per year from average waves 2.4 m high by 5.7 s period, such as off Belgium in the English Channel. A 50 unit farm is projected to produce 550 GWh per year of continuous-variable electrical energy.

Neptunewave is open to negotiate additional PPA’s with agents; has funding for 50 unit wave farm deployments; is interested to partner with off-shore oil rig or off-shore wind turbine companies directly experienced in sea side construction-deployment and O&M.
