Digby is the closest full-service port for new marine activity development taking place in the Bay of Fundy. Current economic development strategy is to position Digby to attract and assist developers with marine renewable energy projects in Bay of Fundy. (e.g. turbine refurbishment, overhaul, maintenance, assembly). SME, Nova Innovations, among others have quickly expounded on Digby's key strategic positioning. Smart Grid and utility scale battery storage are currently being tested. Digby is open for business.
