Training and Service Learning Program Manager
Daisy Meyer is an educator and program manager who has combined her loves for learning, training, climate and environmental justice into building a more equitable renewable energy industry workforce. In order to expand the inclusivity, equity and diversity of the industry, she has worked with all kinds of professionals and learners -- job training organizations, community based organizations, statewide programs, Universities, industry employers, renewable energy experts, job trainees and students -- to increase skills and reduce employment barriers.
Daisy is a Training and Service Learning Program Manager for GRID Alternatives, provides Program Assistance for workforce resources for Solar on Multifamily Affordable Housing (SOMAH) and is an Adjunct Renewable Energy 101 Instructor for Santa Rosa Junior College.
She has an BA in Environmental Studies, a background in learning and development, and a love of rock climbing and outdoor guiding.
