Senior Renewable Energy Analyst
Eva Plaza Sanz has ten years of experience in energy assessment, project management and operational assessments of wind and solar projects worldwide. Her expertise includes analyzing meteorological data, conducting modeling studies, optimizing layouts and supervising the operation of solar plants and wind farms. As Senior Renewable Energy Analyst at UL, she oversees the wind and solar resource assessment for projects all over the world. Ms. Plaza Sanz is responsible for the analysis of climatological data, calculation of losses and uncertainties in energy production estimates, completing wind and solar resource
assessments reports, as well as site suitability forms for turbine manufacturers, and supervision of the monitoring campaigns of solar stations that call into UL. She is also Team Lead, provides critical review and training of fellow team members, and is involved in developing and administering company quality control standards and procedures.
Ms. Plaza Sanz has a M.S. in Physics with a specialty on Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology.
Her previous expertise provides her with the ability to support both wind and solar meteorological activities in UL’s Energy Advisory department.
