Bennet Meyers is currently a Project Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, leading the PVInsight project, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). Previously, he worked in the Performance Engineering Team at SunPower Corporation for 8 years. He holds a B.A. in physics from Dartmouth College and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in electrical engineering at Stanford, focusing on signal processing and mathematical optimization. He is passionate about helping to increase solar penetration as part of the larger goal to decarbonize our energy sector.
