Salman Talebi is working as a senior principal power electronics design engineer at Jabil Inc., St. Petersburg, FL since 2011. He is serving Energy Generation and Management (EG&M) business sector as part of the Industrial and Energy subsegment at Jabil for customer’s technical support and business development. His design, R&D activities and Jabil customers technical support are centered around power conversion for battery energy storage, solar inverters, and electric vehicle chargers. His role in customers' technical support is focused around filling technical gaps between customers' design teams and Jabil business unit to have smooth, efficeinet, and more robust transition between design and manufacturing process. Before he joins Jabil, he was working at SynQor Inc., garland, TX as a power electronics design engineer designing isolated switching power supplies between the years of 2007 and 2011. He received his PhD degree in the field of power electronics, electric machines and drives from Texas A&M University in 2008. He received his master and bachelor degrees in the field of electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran and Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, respectively in 1999 and 1997. Between 1999 to 2004, he was working with several companies such as Moshanir, Nargan, and OEID (Tehran, Iran) as a consultant engineer in the field of grid electrification for natinal high voltage grid, and medium voltage grid for oil, gas and energy industries. He also was the faculty member of department of electrical engineering at Azad University, Saveh, Iran between 2002 and 2004.
