Tricia Keegan is a New Jersey native who made her way to Georgia by way of North Carolina. She received her MSN from University of Alabama at Birmingham and her DNP from University of South Alabama. Her career at Emory started on unit 61 at EUHM and then she transferred to cardiology at EUH where she grew her passion for Cardiac Disease, and specifically, Structural Heart Disease. Tricia became the Structural Heart Coordinator in 2010. In 2017, she transitioned to the Director of Strategic and Programmatic Initiatives for Emory Heart & Vascular. She continues to have a clinical practice with the Structural Heart Service.
She has co-authored a number of publications and has been invited to speak nationally on structural heart disease. Currently she is working on Co-editing, Cardiac Nursing, otherwise known as the “The Red Reference Book” covering caring for patients with Cardiac Disease.
