Dr. Konstantinos Charitakis earned his medical degree at the University of Crete Medical School in Greece. He completed an internship, residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular genetics and interventional cardiology at Cornell - New York Presbyterian Hospital. In practice since 1998, Dr. Charitakis is board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, internal medicine and interventional cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Interventions and a member of the American Heart Association.Dr. Charitakis’s primary clinical interests are high-risk PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), radial PCI, hemodynamic support and peripheral interventions.
