Structural Heart Coordinator, Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiovascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Kim was recruited for the role of TAVR Coordinator years ago and has established and grown the TAVR program at BIDMC. She has 20 years of nurse practitioner experience in the areas of cardiology and cardiac surgery as well as over 30 years critical care experience overall. She speaks at national meetings in the areas of structural heart, and is faculty at national symposiums developing the role of the coordinator. She holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Washington DC. She completed her Nurse Executive Leadership Doctorate program at Simmons University, Boston MA. She has several publications including a chapter contribution in the book titled TAVR Program Development: A Guide for the Heart Team.
