Michael E. Halkos, MD, MSc is a Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Divison of Cardiothoracic Surgery. His clinical interests include robotic-assisted coronary artery bypass, robotic mitral valve surgery, and hybrid coronary revascularizaiton. The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Emory University is currently the largest robotic cardiac program in the United States performing over 300 robotic heart operations annually.
