Virginia Li received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA in 2013. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the Center for Power Electronics Systems, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA, USA. Her research interests include modeling and control of power converters for high-frequency high-density power conversion. The work presented in this conference includes the utilization of state-plane trajectories to analyze the control methodology and transient response of a point-of-load converter, the optimization of the load-transient response using the proposed state-plane trajectory control, and the implementation of the proposed control using analog circuitry.
