Capacitor Inertia, PCS, Droop Control,Grid-Forming Converter
A novel coordinated control strategy is proposed to make grid-forming two-stage energy storage converters provide inertia support to grid by capacitor. Inertia control and Q-V droop control is realized in DC/AC converter. DC/AC converter adjusts the output frequency according to the deviation of DC-link voltage to realize inertia support to grid by capacitor. DC/DC converter is designed to realize P-f droop control by a proportional controller of voltage. An additional deviation controller is designed in DC/DC converter to keep the DC-link voltage within the limits of safety allowed. Experiments results are shown to verify the feasibility of the proposed strategy.
