In this paper, a multilevel converter using standard full-bridge converters is analyzed. Cascaded-parallel interleaving topologies composed of six standard full-bridge converters are investigated. It permits the reduction levels of currents and voltages on switches and high-frequency current ripple on passive elements. The basic operation is described, as well as the adopted modulation strategy and the developed control system. Simulations results are presented to validate the theoretical analyses.
