Z-Source inverter,Virtual Synchronous Generator,Stability Analysis,
In this paper, a novel integration of virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control with a Z-source inverter as a single-stage converter is implemented. The small-signal model of the system is derived in the synchronous reference frame and the stability of grid-connected converter is analyzed by using generalized Nyquist criteria in the frequency domain. A realization of the proposed controller and converter has been done to confirm the stability results by using Opal RT simulator.
