Accommodating Magnetizing and Demagnetizing Inductances, LC Single-Phase Converter, D-Î£ Processes
This paper presents modified control laws for accommodating magnetizing and demagnetizing inductances in an LCL single-phase converter with division-summation (D-Σ) process to improve current tracking performance. Conventionally, the magnetizing and demagnetizing inductances are considered identical over a switching cycle. However, preliminary results have shown that when switching frequency and current ripple increase at a powder core, the two inductances have a significant difference over a switching cycle, affecting current tracking performance. More analyses will be conducted with different core materials, sizes and permeability drop rates with bias currents, switching frequencies, and current ripples, presented in a final manuscript.
