On-Board-Charger, magnetics integration, superimposed flux density, LC series resonant converter
To reduce the large calculated error of flux density in integrated magnetics with split windings, this paper gives a design procedure considering the superimposed flux density of inductor and transformer. Simplified analytical model of leakage inductance as well as flux density of different core legs is deduced. Experimental results show good consistency with the proposed model. The final prototype achieves 97.8% peak efficiency and the magnetics size has about 37% reduction compared to the discrete structures.
