Magnetic Materials, Ferrtie, Frequency Characteristics, Permittivity
The ferrite materials' conductivity and permittivity are key parameters to be taken into account during component design as they directly impact the effective core permeability, power loss density and inductance. Identification of the magnetic material frequency characteristics for complex permeability, real permittivity and conductivity reduces calculation error of state-of-the-art algorithms. This paper discusses the measurement setup and the resulting experimental results to extract the characteristics.
