WVC 92nd Annual Conference
This 4-hour laboratory will teach general small animal practitioners techniques, mostly internal medicine-based, that seem too hard, or that they are unfamiliar with, but that are actually simple, cheap and feasible, including marrow aspiration, marrow core biopsy, slide agglutination, manual platelet count, activated clotting time, joint taps, blind bronchoalveolar lavage, and blind nasal biopsy. The laboratory will use innovative models, and each attendee will also take home detailed handouts and narrated slide sets (photos/videos). Capacity: 24. Price: $375.
Transportation: Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from the Oquendo Center for all hands-on labs. The pickup area is located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center entrance. Buses depart promptly 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the course.
Dress Code: Please dress comfortably. Scrubs are recommended, additional scrubs are available for use at the Oquendo Center, if needed. Closed-toe shoes are required.
