WVC 92nd Annual Conference
In this course veterinarians will learn, review, and practice principles of soft tissue abdominal surgical procedures that are performed commonly in general small animal practice. This day-long course will be divided into two elements. Half of the day will be spent in the surgical portion of the course and the second half will be a lecture series covering topics important to early career veterinarians and those returning to practice after a career break. Dr. Tony Bartels will address student debt and future financial growth. Employment contracts and practice liability will be focused on by Trey Cutler, JD. Lunch will be provided. Capacity: 48. Price: $650.
Transportation: Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from the Oquendo Center for all hands-on labs. The pickup area is located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center entrance. Buses depart promptly 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the course.
Dress Code: Please dress comfortably. Scrubs are recommended, additional scrubs are available for use at the Oquendo Center, if needed. Closed-toe shoes are required.
