The course is designed to train the primary practitioner in contemporary surgical techniques to address common ocular diseases. With one-on-one coaching, you should expect to learn and practice these routine ophthalmic surgeries. In this interactive course, ophthalmologists will provide you with step-by-step instructions on entropion corrections, eyelid mass excision and closure, prolapsed third eyelid gland replacement, linear grid keratotomy, and discussion on enucleation and perioperative pain management. Transportation: Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from the Oquendo Center for all hands-on labs. The pickup area is located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center entrance. Buses depart promptly 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the course.
Dress Code: Please dress comfortably. Scrubs are recommended, additional scrubs are available for use at the Oquendo Center, if needed. Closed-toe shoes are required.
