AAHA’s New End-of-Life Accreditation Standards: The First of Its Kind
Animal hospice awareness and recommendations have been led by various guidelines over the past 10 years. To help veterinary teams standardize the way they provide hospice services, and ensure consistent quality care is delivered to the dying patient, the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) launched the End-of-life Accreditation standards for not only AAHA members, but for stand-alone mobile veterinary services focusing on hospice and palliative care.
