WVC 92nd Annual Conference
Laminitis is one of the most frustrating disease processes that a veterinarian must deal with. Treatment involves long-term commitment by both the owner and veterinarian. Unfortunately, the financial aspect of that commitment is often the limiting factor in treatment duration. Treatment options are different for the acute and chronic phases of disease. This lecture shall cover appropriate options and the importance of communication and understanding of expectations of outcome by owners while making treatment decisions.
