WVC 92nd Annual Conference
Cars have them. Washers have them. Pets don't come with one. An instruction manual! You can't leave an auto dealership without having them go over the details of the maintenance of the car. Why don't we have a user's manual for a client's pet that delineate their current needs and future needs while also addressing any breed-specific issues that might arise? Throw in some nutritional advice and behavioral resources, and you might actually help the client and pet relationship because the client might actually have a better understanding of their new family member. It's a great way to help clients understand your expectations for patient care and their needs as a responsible pet owner. The practical strategies the attendees will walk away with and be able to implement in their own practice when they return home: teaching clients about their pet needs today and tomorrow.
