WVC 92nd Annual Conference
Continuation. Over 90% of instructional time in veterinary college is spent on subjects pertaining to “find it and fix it” while less than 10% is focused on business and communication skills. An international survey of veterinarians from 10 countries was conducted to assess the importance of competencies in professional practice and education. Communication skill was rated 8.17 out of 9 on a Likert scale where 9 = very important. Our two-hour seminar will focus on skills that you can take back to your practice and use the day you return. We will discuss how to improve client compliance, how to increase the amount of consultation you provide to your owners, how to handle an angry client and how to improve communications & leadership with your staff.
This will be an interactive session with zero PowerPoint slides. Strap on your boots, roll up your sleeves and let’s have some fun discussing this very important topic. Part 2 of 2.
