Standing Surgery: Equine Skin Tumors
Early and aggressive (surgical) treatment of equine skin tumors often yields the best long term prognosis for the horse. However, early detection of neoplastic skin lesions requires client awareness and regular veterinary examinations of horses that are at risk. This lecture will focus on identification of the most common skin tumors and their surgical treatment, but will also discuss other treatment methods that can be utilized in the field.
