In a future where cars drive themselves, what are their human passengers to do to pass the time? One possible answer is to escape the humdrum of traffic and boring highway scenery with VR.
Together with Audi and Realities.io, we helped design a VR experience that replaces staring out the window with a magical flight over dreamy, fog-covered mountains, accompanied by an immersive soundscape fine-tuned for relaxation. In this presentation, we will talk about some of the creative and technical decisions that went into crafting an unobtrusive sonic experience that subtly invites the user to breathe deeply and enjoy the journey from A to B in the Audi AI:ME.
