These days we can see more and more spatial audio applications in live events, full domes, art installations and theaters. But every application has a unique speaker configuration. Also, each has a different request e.g. of source input, input formats and flexibility referring to the reproduction of input sources and interactivity. Beside Ambisonic, object-based approaches offer a variety of additional options for such applications. The workshop will show how to create object-based content for such applications in regular DAW workflows and how to deal with this content on every unique speaker array.
