Birmingham City University (DMT Lab)
I am Matthew Cheshire,
I have completed a BSc in Sound Engineering & Production and I am currently working towards a PhD at Birmingham City University in the DMT Lab. The title of my paper at this year's AES convention is: Investigating timbral differences of varied velocity snare drum strikes. My previous research has looked into the subjective and objective differences of recordings from various studio microphones, as well as spectral morphing from one microphone type to another.
