Valerian Drack studies Electrical and Sound Engineering at the University of Technology, Graz and the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz. During his studies he did a three months lasting internship at the Acoustic Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of Science in Vienna in the research group of psychoacoustics and experimental audiology and was sudent employee at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz to work on compact sphearical loudspeaker arrays. He currently works on intelligent audio mixing software at sonible besides his studies. Valerian is member of the AES Student-Section Graz and is mainly interested in spatial audio and its application as well as computational intelligence in audio processing.
