If customers have some unfortunate experiences with upgrading solution to the newest version or a lack of knowledge about new application possibilities, they might start considering leaving Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. Partners who wish to retain their customers therefore need to find an easy way to transition these clients from their outdated solution to the latest version of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, smoothly and efficiently. The key is to ensure existing daily business is not affected and the new platform is scalable.
Having listened to customer feedback Microsoft, along with ISV Development Centers around the world, have created the Solution Migration Assessment (SMA) method. SMA helps Partners start conversations with customers to work out how to help them with their customer-specific transition to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Additionally, the SMA program empowers customers so they feel ready for their transitional journey.
During this session, we will talk about Microsoft SMA methodology and how to:
• Start a genuine conversation with customers about transitioning to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations SaaS;
• Evaluate existing customer solution complexity to determine the processes to keep, highlight transitional gaps and identify specific transition efforts in a short period of time;
• Prepare for the transition to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations SaaS;
