Dr. Alvernon Walker is Associate Professor in the Engineering and Aviation Sciences department at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He holds a BS and an MS in electrical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has authored and co-authored numerous journal and conference articles that have been published in nation and international journals, magazines and conference proceeds. His research interests include mixed-signal system design and test generation/testability, mixed-signal Build-in Self-test (i.e. BIST), VLSI mixed-signal system design, and self-timed system design, Multivalued Logic design, and rapid electromechanical system design and test and renewable energy systems. He is a member of IEEE (i.e. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) and ACM (i.e. Association for Computing Machinery). He induced into Sigma Xi, the international science and engineering honor society and Eta Kappa Nu, the international electrical and computer engineering honor society.
