During this session, attendees will 1) gain an appreciation for regional anesthetic techniques that can be used for ambulatory orthopedic surgery, 2) understand the issues involved with anesthetizing pediatric patients in the ambulatory setting, and 3) learn the evidence behind the use of additives to prolong peripheral nerve blockade.
