Kiyetta Alade is a pediatric emergency physician and director of pediatric point-of-care ultrasound at Baylor College of Medicine with Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She completed a 1 year point-of-care ultrasound fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston prior to starting her tenure with Texas Children’s Hospital. She currently serves as the point-of-care ultrasound program director for the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Emergency Medicine. She is the immediate past executive board member for the P2 Network where she served as the committee co-chair for conferences and affiliations. She continues to develop the POCUS program at Texas Children’s Hospital and lectures and provides workshops on a local, international and national level. Her academic interests focus on pediatric point-of-care ultrasound education and she is currently pursuing her Master of education.
