Jessica Bod is from New York City and attended CUNY Brooklyn College. After graduating from the Yale School of Medicine in 2012, she completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2016. While in residency she developed an interest in medical student education and served as the Resident Director of Medical Student Education in her senior year. She is currently the Director of Medical Student Education for the Yale New-Haven Hospital emergency department and is responsible for directing the Emergency Medicine Clerkship as well as the Emergency Medicine Sub-Internship. Her interests include developing curricula, and assessment of students and residents. She serves on several committees in the School of Medicine including the Admissions Committee and the Dean’s Advisory Council on LGBTQ affairs. She lives in New Haven with her wife, daughter and dogs.
