Dr. Daniel, MD currently works at UCSF as an assisstant professor of emergency medicine. He enjoys his clinical work educating and working alongside bright and talented learners and getting the opportunity to serve vulnerable populations. Outside of the ED, his roles include director of diversity, equity and inclusion curriculum in residency conference, director of the medical student "EM Boot Camp", small group teaching in the UME realm, facilitating a facutly workshop in "Non-biased curriculum development", faculty advisor for the EM Diversity Interest Group and Black Men in Medicine. In his personal time he enjoys hanging out with his dog, spending time at the beach or the park, watching "The Bachelor" and "The Daily Show", listening to podcasts like "Today Explained" and "This American Life", playing basketball, soccer, biking and practicing a "flexetarian" diet.
