Dr. Taneisha Wilson is a practicing emergency medicine physician at the Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospitals. She graduated from the Alpert School of Medicine, Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital Emergency Residency Program in 2016, and subsequently completed an Injury Prevention Research Fellowship in 2018. During fellowship, she obtained a master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Research at the Brown School of Public Health. Dr. Wilson has since focused on the recruitment and retention of underrepresented groups and women in the medical workforce. She has a clinical research interest in health disparities and social determinants of health for patients who seek emergency care.
