Chris Davis attended medical school at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine (UCDSOM). He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine
at Denver Health in 2011. After residency, Dr. Davis completed a fellowship in Wilderness Medicine in Colorado where he also earned a Diploma in Tropical Medicine. His clinical expertise lies in providing medical care in austere and resource-limited environments. Dr. Davis received his start in telemedicine when he was selected to provide medical care for research teams in Greenland and the surrounding Arctic. His research interests include developing novel care delivery models using telemedicine, and the provision of telemedicine support in extreme environments. In 2016 Dr. Davis was appointed medical director for Virtual Health for UCHealth. His primary focus now is expanding capacity for virtual health across the health system.
