Dr. Theodoro has served as faculty on several national and international CME events including the Inter-American Emergency Medicine Conference in BuenosAires, Argentina and Harvard University’s International Emergency Medicine Italian Project in Florence, Italy. He has also served a guest lecturer at the internationally attended World Congress on Ultrasound in Emergency and Critical Care in New York City. He has served on numerous collaborative projects including founding and establishment of the Real Time Assessment with Sonography Outcomes Network (REASON) Trial since his Chairmanship of the Society for Academic Emergency Physicians Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Interest Group (SAEM EUSIG) in 2007. He has served as the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound education liaison for both the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and SAEM since 2008. Dr. Theodoro has contributed to the establishment of emergency medicine ultrasound training guidelines for both emergency medicine residents as well as for emergency medicine fellows.
