Falls Didactic: Bryan Kane recently served SAEM as the Chair of the Evidence Based Healthcare Improvement Interest Group, a group which is working to increase the use of Implementation Science within SAEM. He is a Co-Investigator on a grant funded geriatrics fall prevention project which has resulted in several publications. Serving as the Assistant Program Director (Research), he has established a system to universally engage residents in ACGME required quality improvement and patient safety, processes which have been presented at both SAEM and CORD.
COCHRANE INFORMATION: I currently serve as the Chair of the Evidence Based Healthcare Improvement Interest Group. This sponsored submission is conditional pending adjudication of a SAEM Project Request for travel support for faculty from the Cochrane Collaboration in the United Kingdom as noted in the budget section. That submission is to underwrite planned invited faculty delineated below.
