Description: Medical and technical innovation is essential if we want to be able to find better medicines or medicines for which we don’t have a cure yet. Industry and the regulatory agencies are supporting innovation (e.g. through Real World Evidence, Big Data, cell & gene therapy, etc.) through science and technology.
There are so many expectations about innovative products or treatments - by academia, industry, by the regulators, by investors, by governments, by healthcare providers and ultimately by the patients. But these expectations do not necessarily meet or go in the same direction - except for innovation?
This session provides an introduction to the pharmaceuticals track of this conference, as the common goal is better medicines through innovation.
Panellists and speakers from the involved parties will be invited to this session. We have confirmed participation by US FDA and tentatively by EMA, with others to follow.
This is a 60 minute session with around 5 minutes for each panellist, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.
