This session is intended to be interactive with the audience. Polling will be incorporated to obtain feedback from the attendees throughout the session to better gauge their areas of interest. The focus will be on career development pathways for Regulatory Professionals including opportunities that arise from career changes. It will highlight the various potential risks and challenges associated with establishing a regulatory personal development plan along with the associated rewards as well. Participants will be given insights into potential career barriers and learn ways to break them down. They will also learn what are their career options, how to establish their career goals and the importance of mentors to provide guidance. Most important, they will leave the session knowing that the career pathway that they choose is obtainable along with the strategies on how to achieve it. So many times, when I was in regulatory management, I heard from colleagues that they wanted to continue growing and developing in their regulatory careers but just were not sure on how to go about doing it. When discussing options, sometimes they were surprised and said that they didn't know those options were available to them. This session will highlight the regulatory career development options and provide the detailed steps on how to achieve their regulatory career goals.
