Bob Yocher retired in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at HeartWare International Inc. of Framingham, Massachusetts, a publicly traded implantable medical device company who was a world leader in ventricular assist devices for congestive heart failure now part of Medtronic. Previously, he was the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Quality Compliance, Genzyme Corporation, Cambridge, Massachusetts a 4.8 billion dollar publicly traded biotechnology company which produced orphan drugs, biologics, small molecule drugs, tissue repair products, cellular therapies, gene therapies, medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, and possessed the U.S. largest genetics testing laboratories. He has had over 48 years of experience in the medical products business. Bob has held many senior executive management positions in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Affairs from companies large and small.
