Reflecting Facades No.1 was inspired by the Futurium Building in Berlin, Germany. I loved the geometry of the glass facade and how light transformed it. I began to manipulate the traditional Half Square Triangle block and color to create movement. As I worked with the design, I saw forms starting to develop as well as fissures that "crack" open those forms. I tried to explore light to dark, black and white, depth and color gradations.
