The view from my husband's 41st floor office looks onto the streets of Manhattan. Quiltropolis is the view of the buildings below. Inspired by a painting by Gary Andrew Clark of circles in squares, I changed the squares to rectangles & set them in an irregular grid creating more depth. Techniques include paper piecing, "Y" seams & machine inset circles. Designed for the MQG Riley Blake Fabric Challenge 2019, it won 2nd place. Enjoy the view!
