The raw edge appliqué pieces were inspired by the freedom and shapes I find in free motion doodle quilting, it was cut and quilted freehand without templates. This quilt had been swimming in my thoughts for 2 years before I experimented enough with products and processes to achieve the outcome I was hoping for. The quilt is 6-7 layers.
